Guess there are five iPhone 12 choices to choose from

The Apple’s iPhone 12 lineup has been unveiled in stunning detail. For the year 2021, Macotakara states Apple will replace the notch with a tiny punch hole for the front camera and hide all other FaceID sensors under the display. Thanks to its thinner bezels, the presentation of the 5.4-inch model will also increase to 5.5-inches in the same chassis, and USB-C will finally replace the Lightning port.

The iPhone 12 models will be all-new internally thanks to the most significant A series upgrade, 5G update, 120Hz ProMotion displays. Macotakara famously revealed Apple’s decision to remove the headphone jack in 2016.

To break it down:

Added to this according to AppleInsider, analyst Jun Zhang of international brokers Rosenblatt Securities revealed that the company plans to launch five iPhone 12 models next year including both Plus and Max versions. The company breaks down the models:

iPhone 12 4G: 6.1-inch LCD, dual cameras

iPhone 12 Pro 4G: 5.4-inch OLED, dual cameras

iPhone 12 Pro 5G: 5.4-inch OLED, dual cameras

iPhone 12 Pro Plus 4G: 6.1-inch OLED, triple cameras, Time-of-Flight 3D sensing capabilities

iPhone 12 Pro Plus 5G: 6.1-inch OLED, triple cameras with ToF

iPhone 12 Pro Max 5G: 6.1-inch OLED, triple cameras with ToF

Zhang states that 5G iPhones will have a “number of different components entirely” compared to their 4G counterparts.

Despite the five iPhone 12 versions, it was reported that 5G versions of the iPhone 12 are unlikely to see a significant price increase. This is because of the company leveraging efficiencies in its supply chain and shifting more into research and development.
