Want to have that sporty yet techy watch? Here are the full review of LG Watch Sport:
The wearables are running ahead of the game in the tech market. And most of these companies are trying to get ahead, among others, one of those is LG Watch Sport. The company has been known for years to set the trend for their tech devices. Though having a hard time like most of the companies in selling the idea of a watch that costs $300, they are still able to launch their new LG Watch Sport that would make things easier for the user.
The LG Watch Sport is a powerful smartwatch that can keep up with all of your fitness routines. And a smart gadget that will let you call and use Google Assistant with or without your phone beside. During its launch, it has all the best specs of Google. However, the only downside is that it has shorter battery life.
LG Watch Sport: Design
Watch Sport is quite large. It has a sturdy design, which is also bulkier than the Samsung Gear S3. It has a fixed rubberized wristband designed in a permacurve while its clean-looking and industrial. It’s disappointing for the rubber wristband isn’t changeable, which means you have no options for your daily outfit or just stuck with the design itself. This watch sport comes in blue or titanium gray that you can choose upon purchase.
This LG Watch Sport tracks and records fitness just like any other Android Wear 2.0 device thanks to the Google Fit and other third-party apps. You can download any apps directly, and the Google Fit app can be launched from one of the buttons of the Watch Sport. Setting up the fitness tracking of the watch sport such as starting a walk, run or treadmill running, stationary biking, aerobics, stair climbing, and strength training, is easy. The app can also be customized by the user’s heart rate, distance, or elapsed time.
The LG Watch Sport has automatic activity tracking via Google Fit. However, it does not provide healthy reminders like any other smartwatches. Other competitors have thought it would be a bonus to increase awareness of your health when going on a walk or run.
LG has said the LG Watch Sport is “designed for those who enjoy dynamic, athletic lifestyles.”
The watch is entirely equipped with a wide array of sensors for measuring movements, altitude, and heart rate. However, with all the newly launched smartwatches, we can say that LG has to keep up with the game because they are almost losing. We are hoping for retribution in their future watches.
