What other things could make an employee feel appreciated? This would be through the rewards system, and just this month, Amazon made its employees enjoyed it.
On Monday, Amazon Inc. has pledged to give bonuses to all of their employees and delivery partners on front lines last month during the COVID19 pandemic, which will cost around $500 million. The E-commerce giant promised to give $500 to each full-time employee for Amazon and Whole Foods Market employees, and $250 for the part-time employees. They also mentioned that a $1000 paycheck would be given to all the front-line Amazon and Whole Foods Market leaders, and $3,000 to delivery service partner owners. As for the Amazon Flex drivers, the company said it would pay $150 for those who have more than 10 hours in June.
The stocks may fell 2.1% for the Amazon in morning trading but still able to have gone up to 39% over the past three months. On the other hand, the S&P 500 SPX, 0.94%, has risen to 18.2% in the past three months.

Our front-line operations teams have been on an incredible journey over the last few months, and we want to show our appreciation with a special one-time Thank You bonus totaling over $500 million. All front-line employees and partners who were with the company throughout the month of June (June 1 – June 30, 2020), will receive a bonus of:
- $500 for full-time Amazon employees, Whole Foods Market employees, and Delivery Service Partner drivers
- $250 for part-time Amazon employees, Whole Foods Market employees, and Delivery Service Partner drivers
- $1,000 for all front-line Amazon and Whole Foods Market leaders
- $3,000 for our Delivery Service Partner owners
- $150 for each Amazon Flex driver with more than 10 hours in June
