Lightweight, big-screen, and with a massive battery- every user dreamed laptop.
The LG Gram 14 (2020) laptop range is known for its ability to deliver impressive hardware in an incredibly light package.
Even though having a 14-inch display, the LG Gram 14 weighs less than 1kg. While the 15-inch version weighs up to 1.15kg only, and the 17-inch version is impressively light at just 1.35kg.
The LG Gram
Inside the Gram 14, a 10th generation Core i5 or Core i7 CPU with a minimum configuration of 8GB RAM and 256GB PCIe SSD (up to 16GB and 1TB SSD) and Iris Plus graphics. This is an industry-leading battery size of 72WHr, which is twice the number of ports/slots than its competitors. This LG Gram 14 packs a Gigabit Ethernet adaptor that supports Thunderbolt 3 – and it integrates its fingerprint reader with the power button.
The LG Gram 14 laptop attracts business owners. This owes a lot of its properties to its magnesium alloy chassis design that suits the formal environment. The only disadvantage though was the glossy reflective full HD screen; this works great for contrast but not ideal in brightly lit environments.
LG Bids Goodbye To Smartphone Market
LG bids goodbye to the smartphone business after losing over $4.5billion dollars or equivalent to 5 trillion Korean won over the past five years. This was confirmed last Wednesday by the LG Electronics CEO Kwon Bong-seok, as he disseminated a message to his staff for a major change in the smartphone department.
According to LG’s CEO “Regardless of any change in the direction of the smartphone business operation, the employment will be maintained, so there is no need to worry. Since the competition in the global market for mobile devices is getting fiercer, it is about time for LG to make a cold judgment and the best choice,”
“The company is considering all possible measures, including the sale, withdrawal, and downsizing of the smartphone business, ”he added.
Despite that, the company still continues to distribute impressive laptop and computing gadgets such as the LG Gram.
