Are we ready yet?
The month of August is fast approaching, and so does Samsung’s most significant event this year. The event is expected to be held in its originated country, South Korea. Their main highlight is to launch the new Samsung Galaxy Note S20.
According to the Samsung chief TM Roh, that it would be such a strange time to be setting up for a massive product launch. He noted, “As leaders of the tech industry, we have a special responsibility – and now a true sense of urgency – to help society continue to move forward. So many people are counting on us to give them new ways to communicate, new ways to work, and new ways to connect.”
The New Samsung chief has started this January and has a fair share experience with COVID. And his tenuity in the company has been defined by the presence of COVID-19. His response towards the launching is understandable that references to the pandemic pepper such an address.
Samsung is aiming to go big for its moment in the spotlight. The executive promises the launch of five new “power” devices.
“These devices deliver on our vision to be the innovator of new mobile experiences that flow seamlessly and continuously wherever we go,” Roh writes. “They combine power with seamless functionality, whether you’re at work or play, at home or away. In the Next Normal, you will be empowered to live life to the fullest with these devices in your hand (and in your ears, and on your wrist).”
Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on Wednesday, August 5th, at 10 AM ET. Many expect the revelation of the new lineup of Galaxy Note 20 devices, along with a successor. During this virtual launch, viewers will be expecting more than just the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. Alongside that device, viewers will likely see the Galaxy Z Fold 2, a refreshed Galaxy Tab S lineup, and more. And the possible Samsung announcement of the Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live.
