Fortnite Season three will excite its fans once more like a whole new set of challenges is coming this week. The popular battle royale online game will be following the previous event, the Doomsday Device event, which was released on June 8, that flooded the Island after the storm arrived. With the arrival of Splashdown, the game will be taking the combat underwater with exciting new missions that players will surely look up to, CNET reported.
However, players should complete the weekly challenges first before they can unlock the new cosmetics for Fortnite: Season 3. Fortnite fans will have to complete special tasks to unlock the special character, Aquaman, a skin based on Jason Momoa, which can be acquired by unlocking the special challenges this season. The new update is similar to what the developer Epic Games did last season with Deadpool. Going back to the previous season, Deadpool was considered as the biggest surprise in Fortnite recently.
The previous Deadpool outfit or skin can also be unlocked by completing the recent set of weekly challenges in the battle royale. Deadpool event’s special tasks consist of finding Deadpool’s pistols, entering a booth or port-a-potty, while the remaining challenges will give them various skins of Deadpool.
There is also a special mission in which players can have a chance of grabbing special weapons. First, they need to visit the place called “Stack Shack”, which is not labeled on the map. The report confirmed that Stack Shack is far away from practically other locations in the Fortnite’s map. Once you locate it on the map, you just need to go there and grab one of the fishing poles. The fishing rods will allow you to “fish” for some weapons, however, it might take some time to get one so you need to have more patience. It was also suggested that players need to be observant while fishing for weapons since other players are also trying to get one, you might be killed while holding your fishing poles.
