Microsoft Surface Book 2 review
Now that we know the hack to make your Surface Book 2 with longer battery life, what about those people still looking to buy this device? First, let us know what can Microsoft Surface Book 2 do?
In 2017, Microsoft releases its new batch of Surface Book series called Microsoft Surface Book 2. We know what you’re thinking, “who in the right mind will purchase a 2017 laptop in 2020?”
Though it has been three years ago that the Surface Book 2 was launched, there is still cool stuff that this gadget has, which you can still totally use today amid Coronavirus lockdown.
Microsoft Surface Book 2 has two powerful devices: 13.5-inch and 15-inch models. Both of them have discrete NVIDIA GeForce GPUs that are very beneficial for extra realistic graphics.
The 13.5-inch model has a display resolution of 3000 x 2000. For as the 15-inch, it has 3240 x 2160 screen. Both of them contain 16 GB with Intel UHD Graphics 620.
Both devices can last up to 17 hours of non-stop movie watching, or office working. They also have Stereo Speakers w/ Dolby Audio Premium to prove its sound quality. More than that, both of the Surface Book 2 series have the same storage capacity of three variants: 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.
The difference, however, is the weight size which leads to 15-inch more powerful than the other. What the device did not clean though, is the prices. A $1,000 difference, in favor of the 13.5-inch, makes the 15-inch less interesting, especially if almost everything is the same between the two devices.
Here’s another interesting fact about Microsoft Surface Book 2. This device has its original price of $1,499, but now that its pandemic, Amazon is offering this device for a very generous price of more than half from retail.
Who says pandemic is a bad thing? Well, it is. But for Amazon customers, its a blessing in disguise. Isn’t it?
