Valorant is very popular for those players who love games that have both shooting playstyle and strategic style. It can be compared with CSGO, PUBG, and Rules of Survival, where you will be teamed up with other players to fight other teams. Viper is one of the strongest champs in Valorant, with her array of poisonous chemical devices that can control the battlefield, as well as prevent the enemy’s vision.
If her toxins can’t kill her prey, they will still be disoriented causing the enemies to lose the round. She can also deal chemical warfare and exploding projectiles that can shoot acid on the battlefield. Her ultimate weapon emits a toxic cloud that can conceal her location, hiding her from enemies while highlighting them when they wander into it. PC Invasion described Viper as a bit of a sadist character, comparable to Caustic’s attitude from Apex Legends.
If you’re one of those players who are not familiar with her abilities, you can still make the game very painful enemies. Her abilities mostly excel defensibly, however, she can still perform well on offense with a coordinated team by her
side. Viper can be pretty hard to play since most of her skills are slow to cast. Every single one must be equipped before you can use it, which causes delays. Viper players must always have a plan up their sleeves. You also need to take note that Viper’s abilities do not just affect your enemies, but, it also damages your teammates. Think before you deploy your weapons to avoid poisoning your allies and decaying their health.
How To Properly Use Toxic Screen, Poison Cloud, And Other Abilities
One of the basic tricks is to pick up your Poison Cloud emitter after the round to save you from rebuying it. You need to wait for a short time to reposition it again. You can drop the Poison Cloud together with the bomb so that you can activate it when an enemy tries to defuse the bomb. This will damage them continuously, allowing you and your teammates to make an easier shot that would kill them.
This ability of Viper emits a sphere, which means you can deploy it on top of objects to create one-way smokes. It will be more effective if you can place it on top of a box stack or a wall that your opponent will need to pass through, giving you a vision of their legs while they are blinded in the cloud.
Snake Bite is one of the most notable changes Viper received in the new path note. This new ability will help you keep the enemies at bay while dealing double damage for a short period of time after they are caught in the Snake Bite. You can use it to fill in the gaps in the corridor where you equipped your Toxic Screen or Poison Cloud. It is also effective at clearing the enemies out of their hiding spots. You can use it just like a Molotov in Rules of Survival.
If you notice that your enemies are sneaking in through your smoke or their smoke, you can use throw your Snake Bite into it and shoot some short bullet sprays.
