Are you excited to unveil the newest Google Pixel 5? If yes, here’s an update for you. Google may have accidentally released the final launch dates of the release of its Pixel version 5. It’s happening 63 days from today, Aug. 6. Here’s everything we know so far.
Google’s 2020 Pixel devices unlocked!
In 2019, Google launched Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. Not all people are impressed with the 2019 Pixel devices. That is because the devices already have the same specs with its older versions– so there’s no reason to have it upgraded. Here’s the catch though.
For those of you that didn’t know, Google will have three new Pixel models-– all will be launched this year. The mid-range phones of the brand for the year 2020 will be released soon. These models are Pixel 4A, Pixel 4A (5G), and Pixel 5.
For example, the Google Pixel 4A is available now for pre-order and will start its shipping on Aug. 20. Its retail price costs $349 each. This device is much cheaper compared to the Pixel 3A which costs $50 more.
The Verge already reviewed this device which was called as Google’s ‘newest budget phone.’ This 5.8-inch has bigger bezels, OLED screen, covered by Gorilla Glass 3, and has hole-punch for the very first time.
Its camera has a single 12.2-megapixel on the back and a single 8-megapixel camera sensor on the front for better selfies. It also has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage capacity. For those of you looking for a replacement phone amid the COVID-19 pandemic, this Google model may be a good idea for you.
Here’s Google Pixel 5
Aside from the Pixel 4A, its 5G-supported version and Google Pixel 5 will also be launched this year. In the last rumors, there are no launch dates to be expected with these devices. But according to the newest update from 9to5Google, the long wait seemed to have its finished line now.
63 days from today, Aug. 6, the Pixel 5 will soon be launched in the market. Based on a Google France website, the official launch date of Pixel 4A (5G) and Pixel 5 will be happening on Oct. 8.
“The Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5 will be available for pre-order from October 8, 2020,” roughly translated from the Google France website.
The leaked launch date of the new 5G Pixel models is no longer a surprise. Normally, the tech giant really creates public events around October. For now, Google has not yet confirmed nor denied the said date.
Another confirmation that the launch date may be correct is that Google immediately removed the announcement on their website. However, it may also mean that the system went wrong on their part.
How much is the 5G Google Pixel?
So far, the details that we found on Google France website is the price of Google Pixel 4A (5G) that costs nearly $600. However, Google Pixel 5 has still no available prices, according to the website.
