The upbeat speaker that you would love to have at your parties.

JBL

JBL Charge 4 is the latest released wireless and waterproof speaker of the well-known quality audio brand- JBL. The JBL Charge 4 has a lot of color varieties to choose from black to teal. And each of these color options will give you that premium quality device feels.

JBL made sure to beat every wireless speaker in the market with their JBL Charge 4. They see to it that every user who holds this speaker can bring it everywhere. Well, let’s look further into this below.

The JBL Charge 4 Design

The powerful design was created to be the epitome of a durable speaker. It has these elements that will be able to endure heavy usage and probably last the entire day. The Charge 4 has a circular face that measures 3.7-by-8.6-by-3.7-inch (HWD) and weighs 2.1-pound.

This speaker has also received an IPX7 rating, which has a fully waterproof and dustproof feature. The Charge 4 can be submerged up to 1 meter for around 30 minutes, which means any user can bring this one to any adventure they might want to divulge. It has a durable fabric design on the surface to protect it from any possible damages.

The front design has a somewhat cloth yet metallic grill that gives that sleek impression. And under its hardcover build, there’s this racetrack-style driver, which measures about 1.9 by 3.5 inches and delivering mono audio. JBL Charge 4’s side radiators give that greater sense of bass depth, the frequency range of 60Hz to 20KHz, and the system outputs 30 watts of audio.

It’s undeniable that the JBL Charge 4 doesn’t look like it’s any different from its predecessor JBL Charge 3. However, as you go over to its details, you’ll see that Charge 4 has a more extensive and bulkier physique than the Charge 3. With this measurement and weight, it’s not that portable to use every day.

The Performance

What makes the JBL Charge 4 better than Charge 3? Well, it would probably be the sonic performance. The Charge 3 has garnered the attention with its powerful bass, but as for Charge 4, it has much more balances than the previous one.

JBL Charge 4 can also give the user the loud sound they expect from speakers. When put into the maximum volume, the speaker will probably be too loud indoors, so we suggest using that outdoors.

And for its battery life, it can last until 20 hours on a single charge and be used continuously. The sound is impressively clear and can also be enjoyed in the minimal volume.

The Verdict

The JBL Charge 4 only offers minor upgrades from its predecessors, but the quality is superb as a wireless speaker. It can give that pumping bass that is not that strong enough to keep you upbeat with the music you are playing. And for a price tag of $150, it can give you that long-lasting usage. If you need that upbeat loudspeaker that can last all day and night, then the JBL Charge 4 is right.
