Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and for those who aren’t too familiar with this gaming studio, you might have just missed the classics.

Blizzard Entertainment was previously responsible for other amazing games back in the day like Warcraft or Starcraft.

The company’s recent success with Call of Duty now directs them towards a stronger first-person-shooter or FPS presence.

The company has just recently confirmed that the new and upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will actually be released exclusively.

Where will it be released? Well, Blizzard Entertainment confirms that it will only be released through Battle.net, their own online store.

This news was actually announced by a certain Call of Duty news site known as Charlie Intel.

The site was said to receive a particular promotional email from nonother than Blizzard themselves leading all the way up to the big game’s reveal expected this August 26.

The news should not really come as any surprise to the veteran followers of the FPS franchise.

Other titles in the series just like Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare were previously Battle.net exclusives so it’s pretty straightforward.

The email to Charlie Intel also confirmed that the upcoming PC version Black Ops Cold War is currently being handled by a particular Canadian developer known as Beenox.

The company has already been a contributor to a number of games by Activision ever since 2015. This includes the classic Modern Warfare and actually the upcoming Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 +2 remaster.

The first official reveal of the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War happened formally last August 20 after a particular series of alternate reality games along with teasers were suddenly both sent and solved by different popular streamers.

This year’s very own premium Call of Duty title is currently set to get its very own full reveal through the Verdansk map inside Warzone this Wednesday, August 26.

There is a lot of expectation as to what will be revealed with the upcoming instalment this August 26.

Other updates for Warzone, Modern Warfare, and even Borderlands 3

Aside from the ongoing Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War announcement, there have also been significant updates to the latest Warzone and Modern Warfare.

The updates include both weapon adjustments and bug fixes. This was done to give a better playing field to gamers and balance out the needed fixes.

The update also greatly reduces the whole upper torso damage dealt by nonother than the Bruen MK9 in both of the games.

This popular gun’s own recoil for both its base weapon along with its 60 Round Mag has then been increased.

Borderlands 3 is also getting a new DLC and if you’re a fan of this looter-shooter game, you might want to check out the upcoming expansion pack!
