So yeah, although the Cyberpunk 2077 received mixed reviews as to the actual game, the hype was definitely something that had gamers excited. Will the upcoming DLC save the game?
Cyberpunk 2077 DLC is coming to gamers for free as well as a particular paid expansion according to CD Projekt Red.
There have been a few comments made about Cyberpunk 2077 not really being worth it and a lot of players felt like they didn’t really enjoy the whole game.
The whole concept of the game is undeniably brilliant and has great potential if used to its utmost extents to bring out the best.
This might be why CD Project Red announced the upcoming Free DLC along with the paid expansions to IGN making it official.
The Polish developer actually first replied to a random fan on Twitter who was asking about the possibility for a free DLC for Cyberpunk 2077.
The fan simply asked if they will have Free DLCs just like what happened with The Witcher 3, which actually offered a whole roadmap of enjoyable free content in order to support the game even after its first launch.
As a playful response, CD Project Red then replied with the popular GIF of the Kool-Aid Man sprouting out his famous catchphrase “Ohhh Yeaahh”.
Aside from just this free DLC, it was also confirmed all the way back in April of 2020 that CD Project Red actually planned to release some paid expansions.
The paid expansions are said to be quite similar to the size of those that were previously available for The Witcher 3.
What are the upcoming DLCs and paid expansions going to look like
If you’re looking for the best comparison to the upcoming paid expansions, the best response would be that they will be similar to Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.
The enormous potential of the Cyberpunk 2077 world goes beyond just the videogame. The whole world in itself can be the subject of other forms of entertainment.
Aside from the upcoming Free DLCs and the paid expansions, there will be a much more amazing addition to the whole Cyberpunk 2077!
The game will be getting a comic book series that is based on the game’s very own classic Trauma Team!
The publisher Dark Horse Comics will be working on this art form to help expand the world of Cyberpunk 2077 past the already awesome game it is known for.
The upcoming DLCs and paid expansions might just be the missing piece to the whole franchise. Who knows? More people might fall in love with the DLC after trying.
After all, with the limitless possibilities that the Cyberpunk 2077 world has in store, there’s no telling what could happen next especially with those expansions.
The Free DLC and paid expansions might just be a gateway towards even more content for the franchise.
Who knows? The game might become even more hyped itself once they release even more content feeding their curious fanbase.
Speaking of DLCs, Borderlands 3 is getting a brand new fourth DLC to top off the previous 3 DLCs.
