An allegedly new series of leaks containing information for the upcoming big Playstation 5 (PS5) event has appeared online. According to the leak, the said event will take place on September 9. Sony will presumably announce the full PS5 hardware and UI, the console’s price and its precise release date, during the event.
The new leak came from 4chan, which may mean that someone might have posted it for some reason. Readers must take anonymous web forum ‘leaks’ like this with a huge salt of salt. Still, there is a strong reason to consider the said news.
Although the leak is not yet verified, the information interestingly makes much sense as well. According to the leak, Sony would organize the PS5 event on the same date as PlayStation’s anniversary in America.
What will happen?
Suppose the PS5 September 9 event is real or not. In that case, Sony’s announcement is just in time before accepting orders. The company made a pre-order PS5 platform last week to give gamers a chance to buy the console ahead. With most reports pegging the device to launch in mid-November, we might be just days away from a final date.
In addition to revealing the full PS5 hardware, Sony is expected to unveil the recently launched “Call of Duty; Black Ops Cold War.” The date is consistent with the date reported by credible “Call of Duty” sources about the multiplayer game. Sony and Activision already have a promotional agreement for the “Call of Duty” franchise.
Apart from those, the leak stated that the upcoming PS5 event would announce Sony’s next-generation gaming console release date and price. Also, reportedly, the company will disclose other unannounced PS5 features. According to the leak, new PS5 games will also be revealed at the same gathering.
Also September 9 is when PS5 pre-orders will go live, according to some tipsters. It will make sense for Sony to start selling the console after such a major revelation.
Will Sony release new games, too?
The said September PS5 event will reportedly be showcasing ten gameplay of PS5 titles already announced. That includes “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales,” “Ratchet and Clank,” “Gran Turismo 7,” “Demon’s Souls,” “Godfall” and “Returnal.” According to the leak, a great title of horror will be announced as an exclusive PS5.
Could it apply to the much-waited “Silent Hill” horror game? At that event, Sony would have announced 30 different timed-exclusive content. It also mentioned that at the PS5 September event, “Horizon Forbidden West” would also be announced along with other previously announced titles.
Debut for gaming arena
Although this may sound exciting, approaching this leak with strong skepticism is best. Since the said PS5 event is taking place on September 9, fans wouldn’t wait any longer to confirm whether any of the leak released information is real.
Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X debut this holiday season, offering thrilling features such as fast SSD setup, realistic ray-traced graphics and 60 frames per second smooth 4 K gameplay. And you could not hesitate any longer to get your chance to purchase one of them.
