Ubisoft has just recently confirmed that the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be running on a full 4K resolution at a massive 60 frames-per-second or FPS on the upcoming Xbox Series X. If you’re wondering “what about the PS5?” well, there actually isn’t any announcement just YET.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Why would there be no announcements for the PlayStation 5? There is a possibility that this is because Microsoft has its own marketing deal with the publisher but it still has people wondering all the same.
Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5
It is still worth saying that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is going to be a cross-gen game. On the PlayStation 4, it will be able to cap at a simple still pretty impressive 30 frames-per-second. This is already impressive but what about the 60FPS 4K version for the Xbox Series X?
Hopefully, the same quality of gameplay will be available for the PlayStation 5 version as the quality fo the Xbox Series X version. It is still something that Ubisoft has to announce some time soon. Probably this will happen when the PS5 finally gets its official release date.
It’s safe to say that Ubisoft will be announcing the possible release date of the game on the PS5. For now, you’ll have to wait for further talk of the upcoming dates.
The known release date on the PlayStation 4
Although everyone thought that the Vikings game was going to launch on November 17, 2020, a certain leaked advertisement actually revealed that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla might be coming sooner than originally expected! Good news right?
Well, the game is said to be released on November 10 (the same date as the final launching of Microsoft’s very own Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. Since the PlayStation 5 does not yet have a final release date, it’s still unknown as to when the game will be made available for the PlayStation 5.
According to an article by Push Square, it is still actually pretty fair to assume that the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be included in the PlayStation 5’s first lineup.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
When the trailer for this game first came out, it started to take the world by storm gaining an enormous following due to the collection of both Viking fans and Assassin’s Creed fans. Nobody really expected Ubisoft to go this way with the Assassin’s Creed franchise and this is what makes this game pretty unique.
The ax hurling Vikings might be the farthest thing away from the previous assassins that followers of this franchise are used to. Will they be able to keep up with the adventure and quality of their games? Should Assassin’s Creed Vikings be looked to as a totally different game?
Will players become satisfied with the first-ever open-world Assassin’s Creed game? There are so many questions to follow the once sword or dagger-wielding now turned ax-wielding warriors. Will they still be called assassins?
