Surprisingly, they look extremely fashionable and very handy for the latest MagSafe technology of the device.
Do you really need a case?
To be fair, iPhone devices do not really need a smartphone case. After all, the brand surely invests a lot of time to make it as durable as it looks and how it functions.
However, towards the latest iPhone 12, this protective tool is an important part of the deal.
Compared to the former model, iPhone 12 is purely distinct due to its new applied technology– a magnetic charging cable, or formally known as “MagSafe.”
This technology is a ring of magnet that fits in the back of the iPhone 12, for easier charging. It justifies Apple’s cut towards wire and cables in a standard iPhone charger.
As this is essential for your iPhone to work, the circular magnet attached to the iPhone itself, needs to be protected in all times. Thus, a necessity for an iPhone case.
iPhone 12 [Pro] Leather Case will be available beginning Friday, November 6.
iPhone 12 leather cases: Stunning first look
This is the first video that captured the Apple soon-to-be-released iPhone 12 leather cases.
It was taken by a German site called Macerkopf , posted exclusively on their Youtube page.
As you can see, the new leather cases sure has a stunning look compared to the standard clear and silicone ones.
The texture of the cases also seemed to be one-of-a-kind, based on the reviewer. Of course, the MagSafe circle magnet on the back are also visually seen on the insides of the cases.
The first impression is that the covers are made of high quality and lined with a kind of suede. The outside offers a smooth but non-slip surface. MagSafe is on board and worked smoothly in an initial test.
That’s not the only leather!
Initially, the new leather cases are not the only leather material accessory of iPhone 12. Even a fresh look of MagSafe leather wallet is set to be released by Apple.
Simply, this leather wallet allows iPhone 12 users to protect their MagSafe magnet from any scratches or spills.
Users can just put the MagSafe inside its pocket, and safely attached or detached it, at the back of the iPhone 12 device.
Though looks extremely cool, a lot of reviews may not be contented with its texture and function as a magnet case for the MagSafe.
As Brownlee explains on the video:
But even look at this, this is the wallet mount, which you’d really want to stay attached. But even with this wallet case, putting it in my pocket it can easily just pop right off, just slide right off. And that’s your wallet. That’s like the one thing that you definitely want to for sure stick to the phone the strongest. So we’ll see, we’ll see what this ecosystem brings.
