An all-in-one gym in single equipment. This might be for you and your fitness needs.
Virtuix Omni One might be the futuristic device that you see in the Ready Player One which will come into life maybe next year. As the same device in the movie, you can see that this will be a fully controlled engine that will let you jump, run, and crouch in one place. While giving you that physical activity in one place, this will also give you more dimensions ever wanted virtually.
The Virtuix Omni- Not the Traditional Treadmill
Thi not-so-traditional treadmill is crowdfunded equipment and developed in 2013. It’s a low-friction platform that would be the best fit for one place exercise. It actually holds you in place while your feet slide conditionally across the platform. It is even more compact than its predecessors giving anchoring users to a single vertical bar.
Being a compact means that you can actually just fold it up and organized it away. Of course, while doing the exercise, you’ll be able to play games from its dedicated app store. Though they may not have the full list yet Virtuix plans to feature and have the third-party games such as Call of Duty and Fortnite.
The company has planned to partner the Omni One with headsets called Pico Neo 2 however, they decided to use it for retail in the coming months after the release of the treadmill. If being purchased the developer kit starts at $995 and as a full package, they are opening it Regulation A funding campaign. This will let companies sell shares through a crowdfunding-style process. Fans of the concept must invest a minimum of $1,000, and in return, they’ll get a 20% discount on the consumer Omni One. The purchaser will even get a 40% discount if they invest in the first week.
The Release Date
The Virtuix Omni One was supposed to be released this year. However, with the ongoing pandemic, this fitness tech will be likely to be appreciated and owned in mid-2021 for $1,995 and will be for a crowdfunding investment campaign.
