Under the banner of Xiaomi, the new lower mid-range phone from POCO under the M series is set to be available on November 27.
The news of the launching of the new M series phone from POCO has been leaked on Twitter. Many are speculating as to what kind of phone it will be since the previously released mid-range phone killer, the POCO X3 NFC has gained a lot of praise.
Unlike the POCO X3 NFC, POCO M3 can be considered a downgrade since its specifications are just a bit lacking when compared with it. However, it can be justified since this phone is priced much lower than POCO X3 NFC.
The POCO M3 displays a brand new design when looking at other POCO phones. The camera glass can be located on the left. Also, it comes with a large backdrop that extends to the other side of the phone ending with the POCO logo.
For this phone, POCO decided to have more vibrant colors that are matte yellow and cool blue. Although the classic power black option can be chosen as well. Looking closely at the surface of the back of the phone, it can be noticed that it is textured for a better grip of the device.
Like the POCO X3 NFC, it is expected that this phone will be ravaged by users even more than the previous releases of POCO. The main reason for this can be its lower price of just $149 even when it’s packed with a good chipset and battery.
Specifications of POCO M3: the reason why it’s a lower mid-range phone killer
Even when it’s just a lower mid-range phone, the latest addition to the M series boasts a Snapdragon 662 processor with an Adreno 610 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM and the internal storage can be between 64GB or 128GB depending on how much you can afford. If this is not enough storage for you, this can be expanded to up to 512GB.
Inside the phone is an enormous 6,000mAh battery that is guaranteed to last even when you use the phone all day. Moreover, it comes with an 18W fast charging support to get you on the go right away. Included when you purchase it is a 22.5W charger.
The screen on the front measures a 6.53-inch FHD plus LCD screen made of Gorilla Glass 3. This is paired with a stereo speaker set up to offer the best entertainment experience for games or videos. Integrated on the side panel are a convenient side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a triple slot for sim and microSD card.
The new POCO M3 runs on MUI 12 with an Android 10 on top of it while the standard 3.5mm port for headphones is present as well.
The selfie camera on the waterdrop notch can capture up to 8 megapixels while the rear camera has three cameras on which a 48-megapixel camera stars accompanied by a 2-megapixel macro sensor and 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The POCO M3 can be considered a great phone for those on a budget but who want solid hardware for the phone they are purchasing.
