As the end of the year arrives, the multi-tech corporation Microsoft is yet to announce plans for 2021 publicly. The new launch of the business is the Xbox X/S series that occurred last November 12. However, for Windows 10, an imminent upgrade in the form of Windows 10x could only arrive for the next year on their operating system (OS). It is also teased that Android apps in the Microsoft region will also be featured.
It was revealed in May of this year that Windows 10X will offer a revamped user interface intended to be accessible on dual-screen laptops and PCs. While it was sure to work on single-screen computers, as the company issued a Microsoft update announcement. The tech giant is currently “looking for the right moment” to completely evolve and ultimately make their won’s dual-screen technology available to the market through their original equipment manufacturer or OEM partner involvement.
Windows 10X, unfortunately, won’t be ready for release in 2020 with the year reaching its closure, but it is anticipated to make its appearance in the first half of the coming year. An intense battle with the new Chrome and iPad OS is already seen when the next Microsoft OS will find its way to the ARM-based operating systems utilized today by most persons, organizations, and enterprises.
More Changes in Microsoft Future Launches
Meanwhile, another news regarding the future of the business founded by Bill Gates is circulating the internet. It is claimed that software running only on the Android smartphone operating system will become usable and will operate on Microsoft’s present and future operating systems.
Microsoft is expected to introduce the x86 emulation software, as shown in the schedule presented. It is designed to be feasible for standard desktop applications and can operate effectively on ARM-based device sets.
They are already known to be working on a small update to be published in the first half of 2021. The small upgrade could serve as planning for a much broader, bigger update scheduled for next year’s second half.
The Cloud PC revealed last July of this year is also part of the study by Windows Central. It carries with it the high state of the art PC experience, where a more virtual experience is set for its arrival by the Windows OS in cooperation with the Cloud PC brand. Microsoft will enable users to reach Windows 10 virtually everywhere with this functionality, requiring just an internet link to use programs that also need high resource performance and at the same time, the gain of not needing local hardware storage.
Also having the hype is the gadget element of Microsoft. In addition to this month’s effective but small stock launch of the Xbox Series S, its dual-screen Android phone named the Surface Pair would soon reach European stores. The phone is only available in the US, although it may see a decline in the European market around the spring of next year.
