Apple App Store Fee discount may be enjoyed by small businesses that are under $1 million in revenue starting next year in January. This initiative would be under the company’s new guidelines called “App Store Small Business Program.” This would give app developers a fee of 15% commission than the standard one of 30%.
As long as the developer’s threshold won’t surpass the limit of $1 million then, it will stay at its discount rate. And for those developers running an auto-renewing subscription business, the standard commission drops to 15% in year two on a per-user based on the current Apple agreement. It is also nice to take note that the small enterprises will have to enjoy lower commission rate without losing the features which they signed up for with the company.
