Geoff Keighley, the Game Awards creator, announced a new Among Us map, which will be unveiled on December 10 during the festival.
‘Among Us’ Latest Map To Be Unveiled Soon
Among Us creator InnerSloth verified the disclosure of the new map, per Keighley’s tweet. New deceptions and tasks would come with the new stage would be announced, too. The ceremony will be broadcasted at thegameawards.com for free.
The announcement comes after creators InnerSloth revealed teasers regarding it for the widely awaited chart. Back in November, the Among Us game’s official Twitter account showed a new map.
A fourth map, which was already seen publicly on November 19, has been created by InnerSloth. Information on the latest map were not included when the game patches were released on November 24.
Given these teasers, followers of Among Us may have a clearer understanding of the latest map and a more detailed look after it has been publicly disclosed at the event. Some of the activities included in the new level would also be seen during the case, apart from the configuration of the map. The latest map is reported to be bigger than Polus in the previous leaks, while the new tasks would vary from those already taken on the other charts.
‘Among Us’ broader map, more assignments
On December 10, when the latest map is unveiled, players will have a whole new stage to play and further missions and deceptions to be accomplished. For the “Among Us” game, what does a wider map mean?
The new map is claimed to be larger than Polus, and since it supports other common games which are larger in scale, it is helpful for the community. This will make it easier inside a session to get further impostors. Also in the latest update log, a wider chart will fit the new tasks listed in the patch notes.
Nominations for ‘Among Us’ in The Game Awards
Two categories have been nominated for Among Us. These are Best Multiplayer Game and Best Smartphone Game. Although it goes against big games such as Genshin Impact, Call of Duty: Mobile, Call of Duty: Warzone, and Legends of Runeterra, this year’s performance gives a decent winning chance to “Among Us.”
Fans will cast their ballots on the platform for The Game Awards. To vote, they only need to sign in and browse through the groups. Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, Hades, Animal Crossing: New Horizon, and The Last of Us Part II were also nominated.
