According to the MPR China Certification site, The Compulsory Certification of China (3C certification) or “CCC”, also called China CCC Certification, is a required product certification needed for a product to be introduced to the Chinese market.
The 3C certification is imposed by the Chinese government in order to protect the safety and security of the consumers having passed the required standard that assures uncompromised health, hygiene, security, environment and anti-fraud.
