Recently, all types of old and new technology have become a student’s best friend. Mainly smartphones, tablets, and laptops, and for good reason too. There are millions of tools, like time management apps, that can make school life less stressful for students. Especially, student planner apps that help students tracks all of their homework, classes, and progress throughout the semester.
Check out these student planner apps that really help boost productivity as a student:
Todoist is a mix of a traditional to-do list app and a unique personal planning app. This fusion is perfect for students with several projects going on at the same time. The app allows users to track all of their tasks and organize their priorities. Overall, Todoist is a decent app that really helps make school planning easier. Thankfully, Todoist is a free app with a few in-app purchases and is available on Android, iOS, and desktop devices.
After users create an account when initially launching the app, they are given the choice of theme. Users can pick the Todoist, Dark, Neutral, or Tangerine theme. There are several useful features in the app. To create a task, users can simply click on the plus button at the bottom right corner. When creating a new task, they are given the option to select a date and time, add a tag, set a priority level, create an alarm, or list down comments. Todoist also lets users break down their projects into to-do lists or progress boards, once each task is checked off, it’ll disappear from view. Finally, users can create their own labels and view tasks based on priority levels or due dates.
This app can be used on any phone, tablet, or laptop and doesn’t require the internet at all. This student planning app mixes to-do lists and calendars together to help keep track of everything. Students can list down their classes with each respective teacher and when each class starts and ends. They can also enumerate all of the homework they need to do. The app is equipped with several customizable features. For example, block schedules can be given colors and names, periods in a day can be personalized, and assignments can immediately be deleted without a required confirmation.
When viewing the calendar, each class and due homework can be seen for each day. myHomework can also be linked to Teachers.io which is the teacher counterpart of the app. Teachers can share due dates and other class information with students through this app. When students join their teacher’s class after linking the apps, all of this will automatically be added to their myHomework account.
My Study Life (My Study Life, Ltd.)
My Study Life organizes schedules, classes, subjects, tasks, and even exams in one giant time table. All students have to do is provide all of the information. Afterward, all of the information provided will be viewable on a calendar. Reminders can be set for each class, exam, or task with customizable times. Students are given the opportunity to view their progress of finished classes or exams, tasks, or exams. Schedules can also be synced across several devices for convenience.
This app is much more simple compared to myHomework and Todoist. However, it has all of the basic features to help organize requirements. Like the previous apps, My Study Life is available on desktops, Android devices, and iOS devices.
