Chinese cell phone manufacturing company Vivo could just add another variant for their long line of phones. As leaks for the latest edition of the Vivo’s new smartphone – Vivo V20 (2021) – emerged online.
On the leaks reported in Geekbench – a cross-platform utility website that is intentionally made for benchmarking the outputs of separate and numerous system processors, the supposed specifications of the telephone itself appeared.
Alleged Vivo V20 (2021) Specifications
The reports suggest that the upcoming update of Vivo will be packed with 8 GB of RAM, while Android 11, the 11th big upgrade and the 18th overall version of the Android phone operating system, would support it (OS).
It was also introduced on a chip that was introduced in late 2018 using the SM6150 chip, or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 CPU, a mid-range 64-bit ARM LTE device. The benchmark ratings on the leaks include a single-core score of 553, along with a multi-core score of 1765. The current chip is lower than Oppo R17 Pro, which currently has Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset.
At the period, those were the only information regarding the Vivo V20 (2021). While its name implies that the phone itself is either a temporary name or a moniker/code, some speculate that with the Vivo V20 it may be released as a higher-end variant. However, it was not until last September that another variant was announced for the Vivo V2 series of mobile, named the Vivo V20 Pro.
Forerunner – Vivo V20 Pro
In keeping with the mid-range standard of mobile, the Vivo V20 Pro is filled with some of the newest, up to date, and most sophisticated specifications. It’s a sleek handset that’s 7.49mm wide. A Corning Gorilla Glass 5 surrounds the back glass. A sharp and vibrant vibe and impression is seen on the AMOLED Monitor, where it is backed with a respectable size of 6.44 inches and consistency, while being topped with a full HD+ resolution.
While its refresh rate could somehow be viewed as a drawback by others, because only a 60Hz refresh rate is allowed by the phone screen. That’s lower at the mid-range stage than certain other models, such as the Xiaomi Poco X3 NFC, which already has a 120Hz refresh rate.
But it should not suggest that the output of the phone will be significantly reduced. Its internal specifications include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC that could support the 5G network, which continues to become the biggest thing in the worldwide cell phone industry.
Compared to the forthcoming Vivo V20 (2021), the cpu is also at the higher end and more powerful than the initial Vivo V2, integrating the Snapdragon Qualcomm 720G SoC. There is currently only one version available for the handset – the model is limited with only 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage options.
The complete and official specifications for the Vivo V20 (2021), including its comprehensive specs and release date, have yet to be confirmed by Vivo. While its present name already shows that it is more likely to be published in the coming year.
