The most controversial connection is now available in Maldives.
5G Services are now available in Male, the capital city of Maldives for key business hubs, public messages, and hospitals. This is thanks to Ooredoo Maldives who launched 5G AirFibre which is the 5G powered Home Broadband service. The 5G network equipment supplier for the one would be Huawei, the leading technology provider in China.
5G Services from Ooredoo
The newly launched 5G services are available for both postpaid and prepaid customers as the company covers a wide range of certified handsets in the capital city. You may check the entire coverage on their website. The company also announced that there will be available 5G Experience zones where users can use and test the services freely. One of which is the first 5G Ooredoo Club Premier Lounge and VR Cafe in the Maldives.
It is best to note that Ooredoo is the first operator in the world to have launched a live commercial 5G network in Qatar.
