Video games are seen as the perfect way to remain occupied with the COVID-19 pandemic already raging. In the case of WWE, as a pastime, it’s nothing new. A great example of this is the famous “UpUpDownDown” channel from Xavier Woods, which has become a big success.
The WWE is moving ahead with its expected “Superstar Gaming Series” on Tuesday, although it has been met with many controversies. This will be a digital experience where several video games will be played by WWE athletes.
Where the “Superstar Gaming Series” will be streamed is the only concern now. For now, the only thing certain is that on the WWE Network and select social networks, it can be followed.
Two pieces of the WWE SGS case will be performed. Game Rant announced that the first event scheduled for Dec. 29 would be the Best of UpUpDownDown 2020 Marathon that will be broadcast through its social media platforms.
The second event would be broader and feature famous stars from WWE performing two separate genres of sports. “Holiday Sus-Fest” will be one of them, an experience where certain players and wrestlers partake in a few rounds of “Among Us.”
The second game could be fun. It will have its very own celebrities play “WWE 2K Battleground,” defined as “Holiday Throwdown.” At this stage, specifics are minimal, like how long each game will be played.
Who will join the festival?
Ronda Rousey, The Miz, Liv Morgan, Adam Cole, Tyler Breeze, Shayna Baszler, and Jessamyn Duke are among the famous stars reported to take part in the festival. The event will also see the inclusion of content producers such as FaZe Adjust, Nick Eh 30, Lele Pons and Wale.
Greg Miller of Kinda Humorous Games and Woods will host the show. Fans and audiences can keep track of the WWE social media for the Best of UpUpDownDown Marathon beginning at 3 p.m. EST. The launch of the WWE’s “Superstar Gaming Series” of “Among Us” and “WWE 2K Battlegrounds” will begin at 8 p.m. EST.
The incident somehow eases the problem about the order of the WWE to close down WWE stars’ Twitch profiles in October. As of Oct. 2, most is prohibited from communicating with outside third parties. People who do not cooperate would be penalized or even dismissed.
As one might imagine, several stars were not satisfied with the decision and the promotion called it an “overreach.”
