For many, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas breathes love for the good old days of the PS2. Today, we can picture how Carl Johnson and the Groove Street Family will appear in modern-day HD graphics, thanks to modders.
On YouTube, a fan who goes by the name of ‘XXII’ recreated a fan-made idea trailer for the title. It’s crazy how a 17-year-old game is always on everyone’s lips, while it’s not the most hyper-realistic-looking teaser anywhere.
As you would have predicted, many key characters such as CJ, Nice, Big Smoke, Officer Tenpenny and Pulaski, Ryder, Catalina, Cesar, Kendl, and even the rapper OG Loc appear in the film. XXII is a self-proclaimed GTA Online data miner who also produces the “Grand Theft Auto” series and other famous games, such as “Cyberpunk 2077” and “Midnight Club 3.” quality material on YouTube.

PS2 Remasters Classic
However, even though Rockstar has concentrated primarily on expanding Grand Theft Auto Online’s experience, by launching remasters, the developers also pay attention to some of their older classics.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, which is currently available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, has been remastered for phones. Grand Theft Auto: Vice City saw a reboot back in 2012 with new graphics and a customized interface for Android and iOS users at the title’s 12th anniversary. ‘Bully,’ a non-GTA game that still retains the iconic PS2 status, was also remastered in 2007 for Wii and Xbox 260.
Unfortunately, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas’ official reboot will never happen in a million years. Christopher Young Maylay Bellard, CJ’s voice actor, does not have the strongest friendship with Rockstar, alleging that considering his brilliant work in the title, the organization “underpaid” him.
“Im not involved in GTA VI at all.. Fu– @Rockstargames period.. CJ will have to be voiced by another MF but not me IDGAF what yall heard..,” the actor/rapper turned to social media.
Further GTA News
However, in GTA 5, Rockstar is also developing its online multiplayer experience, as the developers recently rolled out a brand-new GTAO update for Cayo Perico Heist. Dr. Dre, the world-renowned hip-hop artist and President of Aftermath Production, and Jimmy Iovine, CEO of Interscope Music, are also enlisted in the newest upgrade.
That said, right now, but for certain rumours and leaks, there are no official terms for GTA 6 or whatever it would be named. According to many sources, GTA 6 is rumored to take place in Vice City and in a fictitious area in Brazil. So far, Rockstar is doing a fairly decent job at holding the game secret, and ideally, once they actually reveal a full-release trailer, it will only be a matter of time.
