Why? Because it is one of people’s entertainment during the ongoing pandemic. All you need to do is grab your laptop or use your desktop.
Get your midnight snacks and prepare to spend hours, especially since there’s a new champion in the Summoner’s Rift.
Going back, the most awaited champ has arrived! Viego, The Ruined King, was introduced in the game’s 2021 cinematic Ruination.
He is considered an intimidating jungler due to his abilities and mechanics. The game’s developer, Riot, describes his skills as death-dominating and mist-commanding.
The new champion relies on basic attacks and physical damage. This means that you have to build Guinsoo, Bloodthirster, Black Cleaver, etc.
Right now, there are many leaked videos that show how powerful Viego can be if you build full attack speed.
In one YouTube video, it was revealed that the new champion can slay Baron and the Elder Dragon in just a matter of seconds.
To help you further, here are all his abilities and how they work.
League of Legends Viego’s abilities
Sovereign’s Domination (Passive)
The new champ’s passive allows him to temporarily possess an enemy hero. This means that he can use that champ to attack their own allies.
There are several important things you need to know when he possesses a champion. Viego’s items, attacks, and non-ultimate abilities become those of his slain enemies.
He also gains a free cast of his own ultimate called Heartbreaker.
Blade of the Ruined King (Q)
The new champion’s first skill has an active and passive element. The active element allows Viego to charge forward and damage all the enemies along the path.
Its passive deals a percent of the target’s current health as bonus damage. His Q also allows him to strike an enemy, which was recently hit with an ability, twice.
Spectral Maw (W)
Viego’s second skill allows him to charge up and then dash forward. This allows the champion to stun the first enemy hit.
The mist rage and duration increases depending on your charging time.
Harrowed Path (E)
The new champion’s third skill makes a Black Mist wave that spreads across a nearby wall. When he enters the mist, he will have camouflage, increased attack speed, and additional movement speed.
Viego’s last skill allows him to leave the enemy’s body he is possessing. He will jump out and attack the enemy champion with the lowest HP.
Heartbreaker deals bonus damage based on the enemy’s missing health. This is a great skill for killing the ADC or AP of the enemy team.
What is Viego’s difference with Sylas and Neeko?
League of Legends currently has three champions with stealing abilities. Sylas can steal an enemy champ’s skill.
However, this champ doesn’t have any control over the skill he’ll receive. Neeko can steal or copy her ally’s appearance.
She can also have the same health, which makes her really great for ganking. On the other hand, Viego can steal an entire hero, which could make him the game’s greatest thief right now.
