Lenovo might have gotten the memo that apparently, Lenovo AR glasses are making a lot of money. Welcome the ThinkReality A3!

Ahead of the official CES kickoff, the popular hardware company has just announced the arrival of its new Lenovo AR glasses called the ThinkReality A3. These are a pair of AR glasses that could be following the lead that was set by certain companies just like Epson and Microsoft.
Lenovo AR glasses
The new Lenovo AR glasses are expected to arrive at a particular point somewhere between the middle of this year. There is still no official word coming from Lenovo regarding the pricing. This, however, isn’t really that surprising for something that would be exclusively an enterprise-only device.
This particular headset is said to sport 1080p resolution and is even powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon XR1 chip. The Lenovo AR glasses even come along with a pair of new fish-eye cameras that provide the user with motion tracking. This is also while a new eight-megapixel RGB camera then grabs a video to be used remotely.
Welcoming the ThinkReality A3
This particular device is said to be designed in order to tether either a PC or even a handful of other Motorola phones (owned by Lenovo) through the use of a USB-C. The Lenovo AR glasses follow the recent announcement coming from ThinkReality A6 head-mounted display. This offers a reportedly more traditional form (if there now is a traditional factor for the AR being a new type of technology).
The story by TechCrunch reports that the company has given a statement saying that this would be for use in certain scenarios from the factory floors all the way to the laboratories. This will also be used in certain busy retail establishments and also hospital spaces all certified turnkey applications on the new Think Reality platform that is powered by remote assistance, having guided workflows, and even 3D visualization.
AR industry of the future
It was also stated that as of the moment, industry workers will have a light, a flexible, and most importantly, a scalable set of the new smart glasses in order to increase total productivity as well as safety while in parallel, decreasing the total error rates made in day to day tasks. Clearly, Lenovo is now thinking of the immediate future for the Lenovo AR glasses within the whole enterprise space.
The company has now dabbed along with it quite a bit in the whole consumer space along with certain products like the Star Wars Jedi Challenges headset. However, as of the moment, this feels like something that is off on a certain one-off.
Lenovo has been a popular hardware manufacturer of products all the way from laptops, tablets, to other products and with the addition of these Lenovo AR glasses, the company could be venturing into a new additional industry making the company bigger than before. As of the moment, however, these enterprise focused Lenovo AR glasses could take a while before becoming even more commercially available for anyone interested in getting their hands on one.
