LG is teasing with a new technology.
LG: A New rollable smartphone is coming in as the company teases consumers about their new innovation during the CES 2021 kick-off. They have initially released a statement on their upcoming rollable smartphone during their press conference. LG’s press event took place this morning at 8AM ET.
LG’s Rollable Smartphone
Despite having the company confirming their newest technology, its features and specifications are yet to be revealed, for LG has not given any leaks about it. The Korean tech is intending to use the rollable smartphone as a soon to be the “virtual” stage. As the teaser was revealed, the SVP and Head of Global Marketing at LG have brought a prototype that gives that impressive hint of what is coming.
LG is not known to be directive on its launching during the CES event, instead their smartphones have always been in mid-range to low-end. This rollable smartphone will eventually become revolutionary for the company as this would be a big leap for them to make use of the smart technology. As for the release of the model, it is expected that it will eventually come this year or so.
Meanwhile, LG has already unleashed their rollable OLED TV that is actually available to purchase.
LG’s “Wing” Smartphone has yet to be revealed this coming September 14, 2020. According to the speculations, you might have a glimpse of this futuristic phone from the Iron Man Movie. In that movie, it has shown that in just a simple push of the button, the phone’s display flipped out in a “T” style or a horizontal layout.
For the past years, many released new phones would predict our future with technology. One of these models is the Samsung Galaxy Fold, which is giving that awe yet hesitations to the users. But with LG’s “Wing” Smartphone, the journey to the advanced future may be a bit different. And LG will tell us more about it this September 14.
