After all the chaos in the White House, almost everyone now is getting rid of the main reason.
According to Wall Street Journal Reports, Stripe stops payments for the Trump Campaign website, which promotes violence from using the service. The online payment processor has stopped the ongoing payments or remittances of President Donald Trump’s campaign. This was after last week’s havoc at the United States Capitol.
What is the Stripe?
Stripe is the one who is responsible for the online payments for thousands of online businesses in the United States. However, they have announced to cut this service for Trump’s campaign due to many violations of the company’s policies. Specifically, in encouraging violence that causes the havoc in the white house. The Wall Street Journal stated that company is strict when it comes to its policies in having a business that “engages in, encourages, promotes or celebrates unlawful violence or physical harm to persons or property.”
The Stripe has not given their exact comment on the Stripe Stops Payments yet.
Hold and Behold: The Trump Impeachment
US President Donald Trump has officially conceded election for the first time, against his Democrat rival candidate Joe Biden. Though the decision is now final for the new President of America, thousands of Trump fans went to the Capitol to contest the decision—resulting in a major riot.
Social media companies, in return, made a decision to ban the President for posting stuff on any social media apps, which could ignite a larger spark on the protest. On early Thursday, Jan. 7, social media giants in the world made a decision to fully ban all accounts of President Trump. This included Twitter, and Facebook.
It was the companies’ reaction against the infamous Capitol protest of Trump fans on Wednesday, Jan. 6.
Allegedly, Trump supporters—and even the President—made the plan to protest in the Capitol, through social media, in order to stop the announcement of the new President of America.
