Beeper is the newest launched universal chat app that can combine 15 different chat platforms into one single inbox. This even enables users to use iMessage on Microsoft Windows and Android. This was first reported on The Verge.

The application was introduced and created by a team that includes the Former Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky. This app aims to enable users to integrate the different messaging platforms such as SMS, Telegram, WhatsApp, Slack, Skype, Twitter, Discord, Hangouts, Facebook Messenger, and Instagram into one chatbox. However, this is only available only on Apple devices.
According to some reports, the app uses some different methods on the backend to achieve this all-in-one communication. Based on it as well is that the app is created on the open-source Matrix messaging protocol. Their short-term goal is to make it easier for users to chat across different services and the long term is to be an open-source Matrix to chat.
