For the dilemmas specifications, the confirmed updates are KB4598299 and KB4598301(Versions 1909, 2004, and 20H2). Many users have been reporting that these recent updates are causing Blue Screen of Deaths and various app crashes.
According to the forums, if you are one of the users who are currently suffering from these issues with the Windows 10 update, you have to check which version of the operating system you have recently installed.
Microsoft is still working on some technical fixes on the program’s issues. And based on the Members of the Visual Studio forums, users can always uninstall the offending updates in the Microsoft’s Windows 10 settings app.

Confirmed: A password saving issue has been detected on the newest Windows 10 version. Users have been questioning Microsoft with the tech dilemma. The problem has frustrated Windows users from saving their passwords on web browsers like Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. One drive and Outlook are not exempted on this issue.
Microsoft has denied not the Windows 10 upgrade issue.They even published a support page on its official support site for the password saving problem. The company has said to be actively looking for solutions using the metrics. Microsoft’s support page informs users is caused by certain Windows 10 Task Scheduler tasks and affects devices running Windows 10 Version 2004 Build 19041.173 or later.
Microsoft shared a runaround technical fix on the matter:
- You need to start an elevated Windows PowerShell prompt.
- Then run the command Get-ScheduledTask | foreach { If (([xml](Export-ScheduledTask -TaskName $_.TaskName -TaskPath $_.TaskPath)).GetElementsByTagName(“LogonType”).’#text’ -eq “S4U”) { $_.TaskName } }
- Add the Note tasks listed by the command.
- Open the Windows Task Scheduler.
- Locate the tasks listed by the PowerShell command, right-click on each, and select disable.
- Once complete, you have to restart Windows.
According to reports, Microsoft Edge Program Manager Eric Lawrence confirmed last December 18, 2020, that Microsoft has found a permanent fix. Microsoft has integrated the fix in the latest Windows 10 Insider Build and includes it in an upcoming update for all Windows 10 users.
