Rengar is currently one of the strongest jungle-champs in League of Legends. He can easily kill the enemy team’s ADC and mage without any hassle, thanks to his stealth mode and passive.
Some players prefer playing Rengar as a top lane champ while others just go with the normal jungle role. However, he is not that popular since many players are finding him very hard to play.
Although this is the case, you can still outplay multiple enemies with the right strategy. All you need is confidence, a ward, and a bush near you and your enemy champs.
Rengar’s amazing mechanics were revealed by Reddit user u/elmiir. In the video he trying to escape against his enemies. These are specifically Hecarim, Sivir, Morgana, and Yasuo. All players know how hard it is to fight Yasuo 1v1, let alone killing Sivir since she has her shield, allowing her to escape any slow or stun from any champ. On the other hand, Morgana can easily stun her and protect Sivir with her shield.
Meanwhile, Hecarim can also easily kill Rengar because of his SS and swooshing passive blades. But, the player showed that all you need to escape these annoying champs is a bush, ward, and the right playstyle.
On low health, Rengar started to run in the enemy team’s blue buff bushes. He then tries to hide in the bush between the two bot lane towers. This is where the fun starts as the three enemy champs, specifically Morgana, Sivir, and Hecarim tried to chase him. He uses his passive to jump around and attack the three champs alternately.
He was able to kill Hecarim first and then killing Sivir. When Morgana tried to kill him, but she ended up getting dead. Those players who mainly use this champ knows that his passive allows him to jump into his enemies using his basic attacks, which is a great ability to chase and escape enemy heroes. On the other hand, his last skill allows him to go stealth mode and quickly assassinate ADCs and mage heroes easily.
Best builds for Rengar
Before you can properly play this jump, the first thing you need is to have the best builds for him. To help you further, here are some of the best items you can build for him;
Bloodthirster
This is widely considered to be the most optimal item for this champ in TFT, and for good reason. Getting a Bloodthirster on him gives this hero immense survivability to help keep him harassing the enemy backline deep into each round. Prioritize this above all other items, so keep an eye out for a B.F. Sword or a Negatron Cloak on early carousels if Rengar is going to be picked up mid-game.
Infinity Edge
The next best item for this hero, and one that can make him incredibly deadly, is Infinity Edge. This item makes critical strikes do 200% damage. If one of these hits (they all will if an army has four Wilds) it can just about take out any enemy in a single strike. The other aspect of this item that makes it so important is that it is made using two B.F. Swords, giving Rengar +30 Attack Damage at a baseline. Attack Damage, above all else, is the stat that can make or break a good Rengar.
Guardian Angel
In the same vein of maximizing Attack Damage and using an item that is both currently good on its own and good on this hero, Guardian Angel is the best option. Especially with a high-level assassin, getting him back at 500 health can be the late-game push that an army needs to take the round. Again, especially with a Bloodthirster that can heal him back up and the potential to deal massive damage with Infinity Edge, reviving Rengar can be extremely powerful.
