Valheim is currently one of the most popular titles in the gaming industry since it offers a more realistic ambiance and a very different mechanic compared to other survival titles. After it had its Early Access Launch or EAL, it already received more than three million players in less than three weeks.
Valheim focuses on the lives of Vikings and the exploration of a huge fantasy world that takes inspiration from Norse mythology. Players can enter the 10th Norse world on their own or tackle the massive map with friends. As of now players can take the same character and jump between their own servers and those belonging to friends. Through this players can have servers specifically for building great halls along with separate PVP servers. The creatures of Valheim pack a punch, and it is not uncommon to accidentally lose equipment.
Aside from this, one of the most important things in Valheim is a spawn point, which is also the most important craftable item. Here’s a quick guide on how to make your own spawn point.
Creating spawn point in Valheim
The first thing you need to do is create a Viking avatar in Valheim and then enter the first world server. This will provide a short sequence explaining how and why players are in the popular adventure title. After that, you will spawn in front of an altar. The altar features stones representing each of the main bosses they will have to face. This also becomes the first spawn point set.
Survival in Valheim is a bit different in comparison with other survival PvE games. Rather than take damage from the cold or hunger, health and stamina regeneration are slowed down. Fortunately crafting beginner tools is simple. It is recommended to craft a stone ax first.
On the other hand, you will also face wild animals in the game. However, there are also those that are friendly such as birds and deers. You can kill them and get meat that will help your character survive.
Meanwhile, there’s a scenario where you need to build a bench. After building that, you need to build a temporary shelter in the game to protect your items and your character. Using the wood gathered to build a few walls, surrounding the workbench leaving enough space for a bed and fire. A floor is optional at this point, but a roof is a requirement to gain the sheltered status effect.
If the players plan to completely seal off the base, with a door, make sure to add several windows or a chimney. Do this before adding a campfire, to allow the smoke to escape. Smoke deals damage in the game if not properly handled. On the other hand, you need to use the hammer to craft a bed using the remaining wood. After you finish the process, the bed will spawn under the furniture section. Then, you must place it near the campfire to make it usable. If you want to know more details, you need to click here
