Just two years after the game’s initial release on PC, the now massively successful Apex Legends has reached a new record of simultaneous users on Stream.

Apex Legends peaks at almost 200K simultaneous users
The precise number of players have reportedly reached 198,235 to be exact according to the StreamDB indications, which was noted in an article by Dextero. It still has a very long way to go for the game to be able to compete with PUBG at its highest 3,236,027 simultaneous users at the same time record. The players still look to be in jeopardy, but it still seems like an impressive accomplishment for a game that has just celebrated its 2nd anniversary and had also started out as an exclusive to the said EA Origin platform on PC.
ICYMI, Apex Legends could have also had its brand new in-game event leaked potentially called “Chaos Theory.” According to the article by GamesRadar, a listing on the online Target website for the new Apex Legends Nintendo Switch planned on March 9 actually stated that Apex Legends is now making its long-awaited debut on Nintendo Switch this season coming alongside the new Chaos Theory event.

The information was then swiftly deleted and of course, this led a number of gamers to speculate that this is in fact the name of the next big in-game event expected to land in the game. Apex Legends on Switch is also expected to launch with the game’s latest season called Mayhem. This added its 16th new LEgend Fuse to the popular Apex Games. This also dramatically changed the Kings Canyon map.
The popular Apex Legends is celebrating a solid two-year anniversary along with a special in-game Collection Event. This would feature a returning game mode along with some exclusive items for players to use. The event initially kicked off last Feb 9 and was announced in a special video which also showed off all of the things that players can expect to see in the game’s anniversary celebration.
While Apex Legends used to have some sort of exclusivity feeling to the game, the game is more than open to a lot of new platforms even going to the extent of launching on the Nintendo Switch. One interesting way to play the game, aside from the classic PC version, is actually through the PlayStation 4.
