HMD Global (The Home of Nokia Phones) is expected to unveil the latest Nokia G10, which is the successor of its current Nokia 8.3 5G, the company’s first mobile device that has 5G connectivity. Although HMD Global hasn’t released any update yet regarding the features, rumors already speculated some possible specs.
It was first revealed previously on Mar. 8. The Nokia G10 is the sign that the HMD Global is changing its naming convention. Recently, some sources stated that the successor of the current Nokia 8.3 5G will be named as Nokia 8.4 5G. However, there’s a high chance that the new mobile phone will have the current rumored title.
Nokia G10’s release date
As of the moment, the developer and manufacturer of the upcoming Nokia G10 haven’t released any statement yet regarding the exact release date. However, some rumors claimed that it could be unveiled at the upcoming Nokia launch event on Apr. 8 at exactly 3:00 p.m. GMT.

Unlike the current Nokia 8.3 5G, the upcoming Nokia G10 is expected to the tec giant manufacturer’s first-ever gaming handset. It is expected to provide a better gaming experience in the area of graphics since it could have a 6.4/6.5-inch display and octa-core processor.
Aside from this, the upcoming Nokia G10 might also be integrated with a 120Hz refresh rate. If this is true, it could enhance the gaming experience of many users, especially when they are playing titles with high-resolution graphics.
Aside from the rumored gaming features, the upcoming Nokia smartphone could also have the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 775, which was previously leaked after its model number SM7350 was revealed. Recently, its name was previously rumored as Snapdragon 765/765G. On the other hand, this CPU hasn’t yet been officially announced by Qualcomm, but it is said to be based on the 765G, a current processor built with gameplay in mind.
On the other hand, the new Nokia smartphone is expected to have a Penta-camera set-up that is tipped for the rear, but with a 108-megapixel main camera, rather than the 48-megapixel snapper previously rumored. The display, which is listed as 6.5-inch in this latest leak, will be QHD+ and feature Nokia’s own PureDisplay V4 technology. Meanwhile, some speculations claimed that it will be packed with a 5,000mAh battery is said to power the handset.
