Though, there are still no assurances of these claims, a lot of possible rumors were already circulated about the devices.
Here are the things to expect on the soon-to-be iPhone 13 models.
Not iPhone 13?
First off, one thing to note about the said upcoming iPhone 13 is the name itself. Several reports say that the number “13” is not actually the accurate term for the new Apple smartphones.
Some suggests that “iPhone 12S” could be the main guess for the new name. A lot of reports choose this name since Apple is known to put letters ‘S’ or ‘X’ at the end of every iPhone model, including iPhone 6 to iPhone 6S, and even iPhone X to iPhone XS.
Other rumor is iPhone 2021, which sounds nice but may still be debatable for now.
To make it short, let’s pick out all the possible highlights of the upcoming iPhone 13: cameras, design, sizes.
CNET reported that iPhone 13 will have four models in its name: iPhone 13 Mini 5.4-inch, iPhone 13: 6.1-inch, iPhone 13 Pro: 6.1-inch, iPhone 13 Pro Max: 6.7-inch.
In terms of camera, the rumored iPhone 13 has possibly fixed everything that users found wrong in iPhone 12 series.
Famous Apple leaker Ming Chi-Kuo predicts that iPhone 13 will have a periscope camera, a technology that would allow for a larger zoom range without requiring an even larger camera bump.
Aside from the zoom camera feature, reports also told us that all iPhone 13 models will have Lidar technology.
To those who didn’t know it, Lidar stands for “light detection and ranging.” This camera feature is a depth sensor that uses lasers to measure distance.
Meaning to say, getting this type of technology in the new iPhone models could improve its lighting without exerting effort.
Aside that, another Twitter leaker @L0vetodream also teased an under-display Touch ID that could possibly be one of the features of the iPhone 13. This leaked detail was also supported by Jon Prosser in a single tweet.
The original refresh rate rumors about iPhone 12 before might soon be happening in iPhone 13.
Leakers speculate that the models will have 120 Hz display. This means, the devices will be faster and easier to operate than the iPhone 12 models.
For the prices, of course, nothing is still sure yet. However, experts might have guessed that iPhone 13 models have same price rates with its soon predecessor.
If not same prices, though, they speculate that the Cupertino-company will establish cheaper prices for the models. Especially since no major changes were reportedly included on the iPhone 13 models.
Since no one really knows confirmed information about the iPhone 13, its release dates are also under a rock.
However, if we compute the timeline of Apple, the next iPhone models could probably land in the month of September, around first or third week.
