Leaker discovers new iPhone 12 Magsafe cases, perfect for Spring collection. Meanwhile, Girl Siri will no longer be available on Apple?
On Friday, April 2, Twitter leaker Duan Rui has discovered what appears to be Apple’s Spring collection for the iPhone 12 MagSafe cases. New colors of cases were revealed on the images that include light blue, dark purple, light green, and orange.
Is it reliable?
Of course, since Apple is not yet revealing anything on the rumored MagSafe case Spring collection, it is still too early to assume that the pictures were accurate or not. Here’s the copy of the said new MagSafe designs:
The images gathered by Duan Rui came from a Chinese Weibo account named “Uncle Pan Pan.” The Twitter leaker did not mention any additional information about the Weibo account or how he was sure on the said images.
MacRumors mentioned on their report today that the MagSafe Spring collection could be accurate if leakers will based their rumors on what happened last year. As reported before, the Cupertino-based company also released a 2020 Spring collection for the iPhone 11 cases with quite similar colors on the leaked images.
These colors also matched last year’s Apple Watch bands. This means, there’s huge chances that the leaked design were real if Apple will be doing its Spring tradition, this year.
Apple April event
In March, several leakers said that Apple was looking at the month of March to held its annual event. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen, as predicted. Now, leakers like Jon Prosser said that the event will be happening this month.
If this is right, it is expected that the new colors of MagSafe cases will be featured on the same day of the event.
Siri is no longer a girl?
Meanwhile, in a related story about Apple, Siri is reportedly getting a new gender on the latest iOS beta update of the device. We all know that the voice assistant Siri has always been a girl voice from the beginning.
Now, latest reports suggest that the girl Siri will no longer be the default voice. Apple has created surprising changes on the voice options, by making a male counterpart of the popular voice assistant.
We’re excited to introduce two new Siri voices for English speakers and the option for Siri users to select the voice they want when they set up their device. This is a continuation of Apple’s long-standing commitment to diversity and inclusion, and products and services that are designed to better reflect the diversity of the world we live in,” said by Apple.
This means, if you have the updated OS on your iPhone, you can now choose either male or female Siri to give you assistance on your device. Here’s the sample voices of the counterparts:
So far, Apple seems to be the first company to change their female voice assistant to a male one. Despite this sudden announcement, it is good to remember that the latest iOS is still on the beta stage, so things can still change over time.
