A new Pokemon Snap trailer has been released by Pokemon Japan Twitter, featuring new Pokemon and Lugia.
One of Nintendo’s big reveal in its recent Nintendo Direct was the production of three major Pokemon games, and one of them was Pokemon Snap, which took almost 22 years to finally release a sequel from the original. This all-new Pokemon title revisits the old-school concept of players traveling across the world of Pokemon in search of the most perfect shots.
Pokemon Japan Twitter revealed a new trailer that showcases more details of what’s yet to come for the Lentil Region and an overview of the new Pokemon title. Moreover, the fans are surely be given a sneak peek at how to take good shots, to customizing pictures with the use of effects and angles in the most exciting way possible.
Nintendo is set to release Pokemon Snap on the 30th of April for the Nintendo Switch. Players get to explore a whole new world of Pokemon with the camera of their Switch to take interesting photographs of every photogenic Pokemon in the region.
Sneak Peak and New Details
In the brand new trailer, two tour guides show us more of the game’s exotic and colorful world of Pokemon Snap. Moreover, the legendary Lugia can also be seen in the second trailer, swimming majestically through the underwater world of the region.
This could also mean that players could also have the opportunity to take their photography skills underwater. Additionally, the developers have secret surprises placed in-game with Pokemon being in their natural habitat and doing the quirkiest things imagined. Players can then share the best images they have with their friends and possibly online as well.
Another addition to what the second feature of the second trailer reveals is that Pokemon Snap is going to have voiced cutscenes. This is a big deal, especially since the Pokemon franchise never does feature any voiced characters in their past games. It’s also something to look forward to for the new Pokemon title.
Engage and Explore a New Environment
Pokemon Snap trailers have been heavily showcasing the different locations and environments for every Pokemon that fits comfortably into its element. Moreover, as players continue to take photos for every photo space in their photography book, the professor would immediately score the photos.
Every shot taken in-game grants points for players to be able to unlock new features, filters, and items that can be useful in their journey around the Lentil region. Players can also interact with the different types of Pokemon in the region, such as tossing berries to grab their attention.
This whole new world of the Lentil Region in Pokemon Snap gives players an idea of what the Pokemon world would look like through the lens of no human interaction nearby to disrupt the peace. While this takes loyal Pokemon fans to a whole new experience, this isn’t meant for the whole Pokemon community, as Pokemon Snap was also a previously successful game in the past.
