A new subscriber freebie is set to knock in ‘Fortnite’ players soon. Just pay for the $12 ‘Fortnite’ Crew pack and win Spotify subscription for free!
You’ve read it right! Epic Games and Spotify are now partnering up to give away free three months of unlimited music streaming. To claim this promo code, make sure you have your Fortnite Crew subscription and activate the accounts for free Spotify! Here’s the step-by-step guide on how to do it on your account.
How to get free Spotify through ‘Fortnite’
If you’re a fan of Epic Games’ battle-royale game ‘Fortnite,’ and also loves listening to podcasts and music soundtracks in Spotify, you would be thrilled to know that there’s now a way to get both products in one price.
According to Game Spot, all Fortnite Crew subscribers that made their purchases between March 22 and June 30 may soon avail their free promotional code with Spotify. The redeeming of codes starts on next Thursday, April 22 at 5 PM PT or 8 PM ET. Unfortunately, you only have a limited time to avail the free Spotify promo until the start of August 1.
All Fortnite players that will avail the promo will have a free three-month Spotify Premium. One thing to note: your account on Spotify must have never purchased Premium accounts before, or else the free three months promo won’t work. Another thing to remember: this promo is only available for players located in the list below:
- United Kingdom
- United States
How to avail ‘Fortnite’ Crew subscription
If you’re more interested in using the free three-month pass on Spotify Premium but doesn’t really play ‘Fortnite,’ here’s how you can avail the Crew subscription pass. Just go to the app and find the Store. You must pay $12 subscription for the ‘Fortnite Crew.’ This package comes with the full season’s Battle Pass, a monthly 1,000 V-Bucks bonus, and a monthly crew pack.
As of the month of April, the crew pack features a new skin for Alli with the following included accessories: Squee Back Bling, Skellyfish Pickaxe, and Cat’s Paw Wrap. All these items are included on the price, which was already a good trade for almost $10 Spotify for only a single month.
Fortnite ‘Aloy and Lara’ delayed
In a similar news about Fortnite, PC Gamer reported on Friday, April 16, that Epic Games had cancel the much-awaited ‘Aloy and Lara’ team-up from the game. This was after the ‘rough’ start that Epic had for over the past weeks now.
“The Team Up! Aloy & Lara LTM has been temporarily disabled until the mode is up on all platforms,” Epic said. “This mode will now begin its run starting the week of April 19.”
The Aloy and Lara partnership was one of the surprising Epic blasts in 2021. To those who don’t know it, Aloy is the heroine from Horizon Zero Dawn and she will be partnered with Lara Croft of Tomb Raider. Their collaboration is only a limited-time mode so many people were disappointed to see the delay of the mode.
