The nostalgic game, Bully part 2 entered development again the second time, only to be cancelled due to certain circumstances.
The game got repeatedly cancelled for a couple of tries. While that happened, avid fans of Bully had to patiently wait for an extended period of time.

The game, Bully, originally released in the PAL region, primarily for Australia, Europe, Brazil, and regions of Asia and Africa. It received the name of “Canis Canem Edit.”
Bully was released last October 17, 2006. It is an action-filled video game developed by Rockstar Vancouver. Not only that, but it’s published by Rockstar Games specifically for PlayStation 2. Later on, a new remastered version of the game came along. It got subtitled as “Scholarship Edition.”
In March 2008, it was developed by Mad Doc Software and released on Xbox 360 and Wii. Months following the ‘Bully Scholarship Edition’ release on gaming consoles, Rockstar Games made it playable on computer through Microsoft Windows.
Gameplay of Bully
Bully is played from a third person perspective and it is an open world game.
It is navigated on foot, bicycle, scooter, skateboard, or go-kart. The typical game setup of Rockstar Games.
The game is set in a fictional town, Bullworth. The single-player game shadows a juvenile delinquent young student named James “Jimmy” Hopkins.
Jimmy Hopkins, the main character of the game is a student who involuntarily enrolled in Bullworth University for a year.
In a race to stop any form of bullying at school, players can govern Jimmy as he attempts to become the most popular student among the school’s various “cliques”.
There are several missions, objectives, and sets of linear scenarios so players could progress the story.
Controversial Issues of “Bully”
An initial controversy rose because of the game’s excessive violence, homophobic, and unbearable sexual content.
This has alarmed parents and educators. Sad to say, people from other countries weren’t able to enjoy this game because it was banned in their place.
Rockstar Games received tons of negative criticism for glorifying or permitting this type of content in their game.
Even though numerous people disliked the game, it didn’t stop the game from rising on top.
Many big names from gaming community critics commended Rockstar Games for creating a well-constructed game and clever scripts.
