Some fans are really having fun using League of Legends’ new heroes such as Viego, Gwen, and more. However, some champs are now forgotten.
League of Legends has some new exciting champs that will surely make you love this game even more. Previously, Riot released some new heroes including Gwen, Viego, and more. All these dudes are now changing how players are fighting in the Summoner’s Rift.
However, there are some champions who seemed to be left out in the darkness since League of Legends fans is not playing them anymore. They are now like toys that have been put into a wooden chest, forgotten in time.
As of the moment, there are more than 100 heroes in this popular strategic title. However, some of them are now useless since gamers are not playing them anymore. Here are some of the heroes that are forgotten by League of Legends fans.
LoL’s Forgotten Heroes
Maokai, The Twisted Treant
In the League of Legends universe, treants are spirits of nature that take the form of a living plant. Most treants were completely corrupted and lost their sapience, but few a few survived this terrible fate. One of the few that survived this tragedy in the Blessed Isles was the treant known as Maokai.
Maokai is a very easy champion to play in League of Legends. Aside from this, he is also fairly effective. However, his stats do not make up for his lack of versatility when compared to newer supports. Although his kit is good, there is always a better option.
Taric, The Shield Of Valoran
Taric is a Runeterra guardian in League of Legends. He represents life, love, and beauty. Taric went to Mount Targon in search of redemption and was blessed with a higher calling. With the power of ancient Targon, Taric fights the void and stands for what is right.
Taric has changed significantly since his first version was released in League of Legends, and many players would argue that he did not become any better. After Riot got rid of his target stun skill, there was little reason left to pick The Shield of Valoran. However, some think Taric is underrated.
Yorick, The Shepherd Of Souls
Aside from the two champs mentioned above, there is another hero that has been left out in the darkness. Yorick released in 2011 before Thresh, The Chain Warden would see immense success as a support (and sometimes an ADC). Riot has consistently struggled with balancing him and, as a result, he never really sees popularity among players.
Because of this, some players are now avoiding using him, especially in ranked games. This is a shame since Yorick, together with Sion and other heroes, is one of the best champs that can deal an enormous amount of damage.
Kennen, The Heart Of The Tempest
On the other hand, Kennen could be the best hero for those beginners in the Summoner’s Rift. Why? Because this champ is so simple to use since he has not-so-complicated skills and abilities that can help him easily escape enemies.
Kennen is the only member of the yordle species or race, that is a member of the Kinkou. He is known for his devastating electrical energy that can be used to strike down the strongest foes. Not many people know this, but Kennen is also the disciple of Master Shen and is in charge of patrolling the spirit world. However, this hero has been falling in disuse because of many multi-effect powerful kits and more interestingly designed champions that have been surfacing.
