Rocket League’s gameplay shows similarities to its predecessor, the “Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle Cars”.

Rocket League was basically composed as a mixture of monster truck’s fighting one another and football. While mixing both games, the result ended up paving its way as one of the most entertaining games out there.
Players can control the movement of their powered-rocket car and use it to hit a ball towards the opposing team’s goal. Furthermore, players’ cars demonstrate their capabilities of jumping and hitting the ball mid-air, the typical football tactic.
During the game, players increase their speed with a speed boost. To do this, they control their car to pass a marked area of the field. This added movement speed can increase the accuracy of the car to hit the goal. So keep an eye out when passing by these areas.
Just like in football, players of Rocket League can dodge the opposing team to get rid of a possible tackle. In order to do this, players must press some keys for their cars to perform quick hops and swerves.
Developers of Rocket League
Psyonix’s founder, Dave Hagewood previously developed “Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket Powered Battle Cars” in 2008. This application is a vehicle-based competitive game made only for Playstation. With the success of their first released game, was the addition of creating more vehicle related games.
Dave Hagewood’s original game plan started with making a simple speed boost, but with the physics engine. Although, it changed later on. With the use of his wide imagination, they programmed the vehicles in the game to fly around an exclusive area.
Around 2013, Rocket League’s continuous development ended there. Dave’s team took about 2 years and under $2 million to publish and develop the game. Mr. Hagewood’s team showed awareness over the past difficulties they’ve encountered with ‘car battle games’. Their team paid close attention to their clients’ feedback and took note of every detail.
Eventually, they found a way to take the gaming experience to the next level. They managed to make a huge update without the players worrying about lagging, game crashing, and other past issues.
Update: Mobile version coming soon
Rocket League, notably one of the best games in the world, announces one of its major updates. These updates include the possibility of the game being available on mobile soon.
Epic Games’ “Rocket League” turned into one of the largest hits in the competitive gaming genre. During that time, a very well-known gaming company began to run behind it.
As a part of the Apple Vs. Epic trial, a very interesting documentation came to surface. Apparently, Epic Games plans to bring the full intense gaming experience to mobile devices this year. These include both the IOS and Android systems.
Verge, another technology website, leaked a ‘highly confidential’ slide from Epic Games. The slide exposed a few of Epic’s agenda concerning the future of Rocket League.
Following an announcement in a blog made earlier, Psyonix confirms that “Rocket League Sideswipe” is currently within development.
Briefly to conclude, the car-based football game is coming to mobile devices this year. Of course players are hyped to install the game and have fun with friends. But right now, let’s continue to wait for the actual release date.
