Other Perks From Uber and Lyft
This is not the first time that The White House worked with companies to boost vaccination numbers. Biden also announced a partnership with ride companies to offer everyone free rides from and to vaccination sites. It definitely provides an easier access to vaccination sites for Americans to not have any reason behind not being vaccinated.
Purpose Behind The Actions
The White House is teaming up with all of these companies in order to reach the goal of getting 70% of Americans vaccinated with at least their first dose by the 4th of July. Consequently, Slavitt also claims that these dating apps reach at least 50 million Americans making this a wide range boost of vaccination.
Just to get this straight, it is not a perfect way to reach this goal. However, it shows that being vaccinated should be a characteristic of a desirable mate, making it a priority for everyone.
