NFT is now becoming a huge trend, now there’s a platform for it.
The first online platform for non-fungible token digital artworks is now introduced to the public. This website collects all digital artists to join an online auction and get buyers easily. Here’s everything you need to know about Artifex.
What is Artifex?
Artifex, just as mentioned is the very first online platform for NFT artworks, that also sells them through one website alone. According to Blockchain Wire’s press release, this website is a “new digital art project that represents the next evolution for NFT artists and collectors.”
Basically, the concept of Artifex is to highlight the works of NFT digital artists, whether they’re popular on the industry or not. Through digital auctions, artists are able to sell their works in exchange for Ethereum, which is the most common way to sell and buy NFTs.
“Following the success of our NYC NFT takeover in Times Square and around the city, where we showcased digital art from 23 top artists in the space, we feel it’s time to fully launch Artifex and auction single edition artwork as well as showcase limited edition sculptures honoring some of today’s most influential NFT artists,” said Roger Dickerman, Founder of Artifex. “The industry desperately needs a solid platform that filters through the noise to reveal this generation’s true artists, while also creating an opportunity for artists to represent themselves in their work; and we’re happy Artifex will meet this need.”
How the website works
Artifex has a sophisticated black and white theme to its website that allows the artworks to stand out in its color. The website works with the basic concept of ‘waves.’ Each ‘wave’ is related to a single theme for the whole set of auctioned artworks. For example, Artifex’ first wave is called ‘The Family,’ which represents the spirit of the NFT space: the collaboration, the community, and the positivity. All NFT works should relate their piece to the theme answering the question: ‘how do you see yourself in a piece of art?’
If you want to get your artwork on the site, here’s the complete schedule of their auction:
- Thursday, May 20th at 7:00pm EST – Billelis & toomuchlag
- Friday, May 21st at 7:00pm EST – FVCKRENDER & Baeige
- Tuesday, May 25th at 7:00pm EST – Blake Kathryn & Jason Ebeyer
- Wednesday, May 26th at 7:00pm EST – Aeforia & Maalavidaa

Why NFT artwork suddenly gets popularized
If you’re into cryptocurrencies or any digital artworks, you might have already heard about NFT. So far, this type of artwork has become famous due to popular names, giving interest to it. This mainly includes Elon Musk, which also sold an NFT before.
A lot of people seemed unimpressed with how it works, but digital artist Beeple is one of the examples why this profession can be worthy of everyone’s time. Beeple recently sold his digital artwork as NFT for the highest-price of $69 million. Since this news, majority of artists want to enter the business. And, Artifex could be the spot for them.
