Now it’s pandemic, you might want to try solving this huge LEGO puzzle at home.
Are you a fan of LEGO puzzles? If yes, here’s an amazing news for you. Recently, LEGO announces its another largest-set of puzzle, featuring the world map. Just in case you like geography and Legos, you might want to add this to your wish list right now.
World Map LEGO set: Everything you should know
LEGO has announced another huge set of puzzle. The world map puzzle consists of exactly 11,695 pieces, which you can hang on your wall upon finishing the puzzle. It is measured 25.5 inches in height and 40.5 inches in width, and can be arranged three different ways to allow players to relocate places on the map with only your favorite ones.
“This new addition to the Lego Art collection contains the most pieces ever included in a set in the Lego Group’s history, with its 11,695 elements allowing builders to immerse themselves in creating a stunning representation of the earth from 2D Lego tiles,” according to Lego’s press release.
Aside that, you can also directly customized the map, if you’re not sure with which place goes which place. Basically saying, you might not want this map to be your child’s learning tool in the future. Regardless of that, this new LEGO product comes with a coffee-table style instruction booklet, a white brick-built frame and two hanging elements.
You can buy this model at www.lego.com that costs $299.99 and will be also available in LEGO stores, starting on June 1.
LEGO’s gift for pandemic survivors
Basically, the LEGO World Map isn’t really meant to be played for kids. First off, it’s hard to follow the whole pattern, and copying the original world map might be a little tricky to follow through if you’re a little kid.
Also, this item is called as gift for all pandemic survivors who might miss going outside of their homes.
“We know that our adult fans love to travel, but many haven’t been able to do so for over a year now. We thought that there was no better way of helping explore the world while relaxing in the comfort of their home than by allowing them to build, rebuild, plan and reminisce through building. We hope the LEGO Art World Map will inspire new adventures in some, and help others relive and celebrate wonderful travel memories from the past.” said Fiorella Groves, Creative Lead for LEGO Art.
What does LEGO do to your health?
Just like any other visual puzzles, any LEGO toys is a brain-stimulating game to anyone who plays it. This is regardless of your gender or age.
First off, playing LEGOs can build better spatial skills among its players. Spatial skills are the ability to visualize and plan three-dimensional objects. This is more beneficial for artists, or architects designing houses in their heads.
As explained by expert, “Legos are a good introduction to communicating ideas with physical objects,” notes Tiffany Tseng, an engineer in the MIT Media Lab. “Putting things together and taking them apart got me interested in how things work, and by the time I was an undergraduate, I knew I wanted to be an engineer.”
