How to fix it?
Fortunately, if you’re using iPhones as device, you might have a chance to get back the dark mode version of Facebook. Thanks to Tech Radar, they figured out on how to fix the dark mode glitch on iOS models.
According to the report, first step you should do is to uninstall and reinstall the Facebook app on your phone. Once this didn’t work, you can forced quit the app to delete all caches and memory usage it uses. Next, go into your iPhone’s settings and scroll down to the app section. There, select Facebook. In the Facebook app setting, turn on “Upload HD video” and “Upload HD photos.”
Even Tech Radar said that they found it ‘weird’ that this process is the fix of the broken Facebook feature. But, it surely works on some iPhones they have lying around. Unfortunately, for Android users, there are still no current possible fix to go back to the dark mode version of the app.
As of now, Facebook’s only statement regarding the issue was “We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing certain features on Facebook’s Android app. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.”
