iPhone 13 Pro could be receiving some new features and designs. These include its screen, camera, and more. Here’s what the Apple leaker revealed.
Because of the advanced features that the latest iPhone 12 offers, many consumers are now expecting more from the upcoming iPhone 13 Pro. And now, an Apple leaker decided to leak some new details about the new handset.
The Apple leaker said that the “first look at the finalized version of the iPhone 13 Pro. Thanks again to @ld_vova for the amazing work he has done with this. (Note that some things could be changed during mass production as what happened with AirPods Max, but that isn’t likely).”
The leaker added that “the camera bump has been flattened by quite a lot. The notch has been heavily reduced. The stainless steel band has been treated to be less prone to fingerprints.” He added that Apple also modified the camera sensors of the new iPhone 13 Pro.
Because of the tech giant manufacturer’s efforts, iPhone 13 Pro’s camera is now a little bumpy, larger, and only has three lenses. Although this is the case, the leaker still reassured the users that the new Apple handset is still worth it.
Other Details of the new Apple Device
When it comes to releasing dates, the new Apple smartphone is expected to arrive around September. Rumors and other speculations claimed that this will likely happen since the giant gadget maker usually reveals its handsets on the second week or third week of September.
On the other hand, some sources and other rumors claimed that Apple could release this new smartphone exactly this coming September 5 or the week of September 12. However, these possible launch dates will still depend on Apple’s final decision.
When it comes to features, the new Apple smartphone is expected to have a 1TB storage option, which would be twice the maximum storage capacity of the current model. It is also expected to come with the second-generation 5nm process A15 processor, which uses external Qualcomm X60 5G baseband.
On the other hand, various rumors also claimed that the new smartphone will have the TrueDepth camera, which will be shallower because the receiver at the top of the display is being relocated to the edge of the case. This information originally suggested the notch would be shallower rather than smaller, but later mockups have indicated it will be shrinking in width rather than height.
However, this was changed after the leaker claimed that the upcoming smartphone will have bumpy camera lenses. On the other hand, its Face ID transmitter is said to be made from a plastic material instead of glass, made possible thanks to improved coating technologies, but it is not clear if this will have end-user benefits or if it will simply mean a reduction in production cost for Apple.
Meanwhile, some analysts claimed that this new Apple smartphone will have a port, which will be a change since some new iPhones are already portless.
