Huawei finally released its new HarmonyOS. Because of this, some experts claimed that its unified ecosystem could make it better than iOS and Android.
Huawei finally decided to use its own gadget system. This means that the giant Chinese tech company will no longer rely on Android. On the other hand, some experts and other critics claimed that the company’s new HarmonyOS could be way better than the latest Android and iOS systems.
When Huawei’s HarmonyOS was being shown off at its launch event on June 2, the Chinese smartphone developer released a live demo of the new jack of all trades operating system in a fancy 5-star hotel, where prices for one night start at over $280 and go up to nearly $1,415.
After that, the giant tech creator showed its new HarmonyOS running on a tablet, on a smartwatch, on earbuds, and more. One demonstration showed a YouTube video on a laptop pausing when the connected smartphone received a call, which was then sent to some paired headphones via the smartwatch.
On the other hand, another use case was a picture being taken of the nearby St Pancras station, which was seamlessly dropped onto a nearby PC for easy editing. Meanwhile, many viewers confirmed that one of their favorite showcases was when a smartphone was paired with an action camera to record 4K footage, which had the heart rate from a worn smartwatch imposed over the top. Although this is the case, Huawei still seemed to focus on showing the benefits of HarmonyOS.
To give you more idea, here are other details of why HarmonyOS is claimed to be better than the current iOS and Android smartphone systems.
