Apple confirmed the major updates that users can benefit from the new iPhone 13. These include the new advanced version of LiDAR and other enhanced features.
Previously, iPhone 13 made a huge noise even after the tech giant manufacturer confirmed that it could arrive this coming September. However, some tech critics and other experts were disappointed after various rumors and speculations claimed that the new mobile device would only have a few enhancements.
And now, Apple released new confirmations about the new enhancements and improvements of the new iPhone 13. Since the new claims were released before the arrival of this new high-end device, many consumers are now excited once again.
iPhone 13 is considered to be almost the same as iPhone 12, which is the latest mobile lineup of Apple. However, the tech giant manufacturer confirmed that the new gadget will have two massive upgrades.
Although iPhone 13’s new advanced features are also available on iPhone 12, Apple confirmed that they are much more high-tech confirmed to those offered by the current iPhone models.
iPhone 13 is rumored to be having 1TB variants. This means that the new Apple mobile device will allow users to have more options, especially those who love to have more spaces so that they can take lots of photos and install various applications, as well as important documents and files.
A popular industry insider, Jon Prosser, was the first one who leaked this major update. He said back in October 2021 that the new iPhone 13 would have two 1TB versions. Moreover, the move makes a lot of sense given Apple’s introduction of ProRaw photography which combines RAW images with iPhone image processing. program files can be over 10x larger than standard iPhone HEIF and JPEG images.
This is a major update for the new Apple smartphone since the current iPhone 12 Pro only has configurations of 128/256/512GB. On the other hand, 128GB was only introduced last year so I expect it to remain, but a jump to 512GB at the mid-tier would make a lot of sense with massive upsell potential to upgraders who typically stick to the entry-level model. Make it happen Apple.
LiDAR’s New Advanced Model
Aside from the new 1TB versions, the new smartphone is claimed to have the new LiDAR version, which is also offered by the current iPhone 12 variants. Some critics and other reliable leakers, who have great backgrounds when it comes to accurate tech infos, claimed that the new Apple mobile device appears to have dual cameras repositioned in a diagonal arrangement alongside a flash and upgraded Beamforming mic but no LiDAR.
Prosser himself is also skeptical about this. Both Prosser and Wedbush have strong track records, but I share the former’s doubt. On the other hand, the tech giant manufacturer also needs to encourage wider developer support, and that only happens when you bring its capabilities to all models if it wants to make LiDAR and its impressive 3D scanning a thing.
